LOOKING FOR THE GOOD STUFF

The portion of Scripture read at Church yesterday that really "spoke" to me was Psalm 27:17.  The Psalmist ponders "What if I had not believed that I should see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living?!"


It struck me how jaded, cynical and pessimistic I am often prone to be.  I realized that I often do not expect to see the goodness of God in the world around me.  That is terrible.  I do not want to be stuck in that gear while I drive around today.  The Lord used this verse to enourage me to lift my eyes higher and look for Him at work. When I leave the house I will be on the watch for the goodness of the Lord.
